12-year old car jacker- Strikes Haverford Students

I was just watching the news and thought that I would share this article that was on. It hits kind of close to home. Apparently yesterday a car was jacked on 41st and Lancaster, for me this is a street I know well I always take Lancaster to get into the city mainly because it quicker and I don't have to deal with highway traffic. Yesterday however, three students were held up at gunpoint while waiting at a red light at that very intersection. Apparently a 12 year old walked up to the driver’s side of the car and told them to get out while pointing the gun to the driver's head. While this is striking in its own right that a 12 year old was the one holding the gun. What really caught my attention was that the students that were high jacked were Haverford students. The story was shown on NBC 10 but I couldn't find the actual article to share with you all. I think that this is just a reminder that we must be aware of our surroundings now matter where we are at.
